Ever wanted to try your hand at wet felting? Then join me for a fun morning of woolly goodness making a wet felted Christmas stocking!
Beginners (age 16+) welcome!
In this workshop, we will go through the basics of wet felting and learn how to create a festive stocking for your home. All materials supplied, with each participant taking home one stocking for their Christmas collection. This class is intentionally kept small, so there is plenty of time to perfect your craft and for one on one teaching.
(Please be aware this class involves using soap with direct contact with skin. Where possible, I will source unscented. Wet felting also involves physical and repetitive hand movements.)
⭐Please note: Participants will need to bring 2-3 tea towels or small hand towels to 'stuff' stocking. This helps maintain shape whilst drying at home.
Venue: KIN creative space, Kingston Beach. (Located on the side of the Kingston beach hall). There is lots of parking available nearby.
Time: 9.30am onwards. Wet felting is a very hands on craft so please arrive 5- 10mins early to make yourself a cuppa and settle in. We will be starting class at 9.30am. End time varies but please expect to be at the workshop for a minimum of 4-5 hours.
Meals: A generous morning tea is supplied. Please contact the event organiser for any dietary needs after booking. A short lunch break will be scheduled if needed with many venues nearby to grab some food. Alternatively, a fridge is available for use should you wish to…
