Backbends are often seen as shapes of openness, but true backbending is about so much more than flexibility. It asks for strength, awareness, control and the ability to create support within the body as we move into deeper expressions of the spine.
Join senior teachers Simone & Sanna for a two-hour workshop dedicated to exploring the art of backbending in a safe, intelligent and progressive way. Together we will break down foundational techniques, build confidence and create more understanding around how to move into deeper shapes with both strength and ease.
Expect a full body warm up with mobility, activation and preparatory drills designed to open the shoulders, spine and hips while creating stability through the body.
