Visit the historic Richard Randall Art Studio within the Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha for Art in the Gardens, an original fine art exhibition and sale presented by four local artists. The exhibition features original watercolours, contemporary landscapes, botanical works, and marine paintings by Shruti Kashikar, Paquita Fadden, Juana Bernardo, and Leonie Seabrook. Alongside framed gallery pieces, visitors can browse fine art greeting cards and handmade gifts - ideal for seasonal gift shopping. The exhibition also hosts a featured curatorial preview: Trailblazing Women – 14 Portraits from Modern Australian Politics by Paquita Fadden. Shown together for the first time, this cohesive portrait archive commemorates 14 pioneering women who broke institutional glass ceilings in national leadership, painted in single mineral watercolours on textured canvas. The studio is wheelchair accessible and located near the gardens' bamboo grove, minutes from the cafe and parking.
