Christmas Quilling: Cards & Gift Tags
UK – Day 10 of our Christmas Around the World Advent Calendar
Date: Monday 14 December 2026
Time: 10am - 12pm
Location: Ngutungka Henley
Get crafty this Christmas and discover the beautiful art of paper quilling!
Paper quilling became particularly popular in Britain during the 18th century, when it was a fashionable pastime among women and was used to decorate boxes, cards and other items. Today, it’s still a beautiful way to turn simple strips of paper into intricate designs.
Join us for a relaxed and creative morning making your own Christmas cards and gift tags using colourful strips of paper, carefully rolled and shaped into festive designs.
You’ll learn some simple quilling techniques and create your own unique decorations to add a handmade touch to your Christmas gifts and greetings. Whether you’re new to quilling or already enjoy paper crafts, this is a fun way to slow down, get creative and make something special.
Come along, get creative and add a little handmade magic to your Christmas this year!
Suitable for anyone over 15yrs.
