Discover the Bauhaus through making, experimenting, and having fun! Join local Bendigo artists for supervised, hands-on workshops exploring the ideas, principles, and visual forms that made the Bauhaus so influential.
You’ll learn about Bauhaus history while experimenting with color, shape, form, and composition. This is a fantastic opportunity to create your own original work while discovering how historic Bauhaus concepts translate into contemporary creative practice.

🧵 Workshop 1: Bauhaus Weaving with Recycled Materials
Instructor: Molly Rule
Molly will guide participants through working with repurposed materials to create wearable, woven textile artworks inspired by the legendary women of the Bauhaus weaving department—such as Anni Albers, Gunta Stölzl, and Otti Berger. Historically the most commercially successful department of the Bauhaus school, these trailblazing designers revolutionized textile art.
