Join us for a relaxed event filled with connection, compassion, and purpose.
Let's make this Melbourne Cup Day about supporting horses instead of using them!
Meet PJ , George, Willy & Cruz our retired racehorses, and of course, their friends.
Enjoy a light lunch, and get the chance to meet our wonderful therapy herd who enjoy a life of care, love and as much freedom as we can offer them.
This social event is the perfect opportunity to connect with these gentle souls in a nurturing environment, and learn about who horses truly are.
✨ Date: Tues 3rd November 2026
✨ Time: 12noon – 2pm
✨ Location: The Stables @ Highlands Centre for Healing
You are welcome to gift a donation to support the herd and the amazing healings they offer people 🐴💛
MEET PJ ~ aka LIGHT OF FORTUNE
Turning 25 in 2026, PJ raced as a youngster. He only had a few starts before proving he was not quick enough (came virtually last in all!), and retired before the age of 4 years old. No horse of any breed is mature until they are 6 years old.
His racing name, Light Of Fortune, aligns with his energy abilities. He's been known to stand over a Reiki table for quite some time! He's an interesting character and we look forward to you meeting him.
MEET GEORGE aka GANAMAC
Total Prize money AUD $85,180
Career7 Wins (16%) - 11 Placings (42%) - 43 starts
George had a long racing career, continuing until he was 8 years old. He spent 2 years in a paddock before joining me as a 10 year old. At that stage he was still a fire breathing…
