Workshop: Letters to Our Past Selves
This workshop invites first-generation migrants to honour and share their journeys to Australia through tangible art and the written word. Participants bring a personal artifact (a photograph, textile, or family recipe) to serve as a creative touchstone. Their oral histories will be shared through facilitated group storytelling, translated visually into individual A3 mixed-media artworks using the Draw All You Can card game, and internalized through a final reflective letter-writing exercise. This workshop is supported by Hobsons Bay City Council
