About

Presented by the School of Media and Communication and the Murdoch University Creative Academy and a prelude to the Australian & Aotearoa New Zealand Communication Association (AANZCA) 2026 conference hosted by Murdoch University : ’Storytelling in an age of disruption’.

Country is always talking to us, and Kambarang, as one of the six Noongar seasons, allows that conversation to continue and be heard…it is during Kambarang that we see an abundance of colours and flowers exploding all around us. So come join us as we continue this knowledge system at Murdoch University with an array of Indigenous based films that brim with sight, sound, totems, people and stories based around the Karaak (Red tailed cockatoo), Wadjemup (Rottnest Island), Aboriginal war remembrance, Spirit beings and Noongar boodjah (country)
