Step inside the heritage charm of The Metropole Library, where a small gathering of wine lovers comes together for an evening of discovery, storytelling and spirited conversation.

Unlike traditional wine tastings, The Metropole Tasting Room welcomes just 12 guests per session, creating a wonderfully personal experience where curiosity is encouraged, questions are welcomed and conversation flows as freely as the wine.

Hosted by wine educator Clio Collar, this relaxed 90-minute experience takes you on a journey through eight thoughtfully selected wines, exploring an intriguing mix of grape varieties, regions and winemaking styles.

More than a tasting, it's a conversation.

With no more than 12 people gathered in the cosy, informal surrounds of our heritage lounge, there's plenty of opportunity to engage directly with Clio, ask questions as they arise and explore the fascinating world of wine at your own pace.

There's no formal lecture, no intimidating wine jargon and certainly no expectation that you arrive knowing your Shiraz from your Sangiovese.

Instead, expect lively discussion, fascinating discoveries and the pleasure of sharing good wine in good company.
