The sun's heat sits in the chest long after the sky has emptied. Rivers thin to threads. The land holds its breath. FLUX is an original dance work in three parts that traces a body’s passage through scarcity, refusal and return. Drawing on each cast member’s 50+ years of living, Deborah Brown has choreographed a work that moves through vastness and resistance to ask how we are shaped by water. Now in its sixth year, ADC Mature Ensemble invites movers aged 50 and over, regardless of experience, into a deeply embodied creative process that celebrates lived experience, cultural resonance and physical intelligence. FLUX will be presented across three performances: 4pm and 6pm on 28 November, and 4pm on 29 November. Location: ADC Studios, Level 4 of the Judith Wright Arts Centre, 420 Brunswick Street, Fortitude Valley Proudly sponsored by Brisbane City Council. For more information, visit ADC Studios Website.
