“Contact Sport is the new project from Sydney musicians Paul and Noel Mason. With ARIA Awards, international tours and years spent performing and recording alongside some of the biggest names in music between them, these twin brothers are stepping out together with a completely original sound — energetic, edgy and distinctly modern, blending new-wave influences with a sharp, contemporary pop sensibility.
On Saturday, 5 December, Contact Sport launch their debut single at The Lansdowne Hotel. Joining them are Sydney rock trio NECKO, bringing their blues-soaked, high-energy take on classic rock, and ATHANASIA, the rising soul, funk and pop artist known for her dynamic live performances. With DJ sets from Kozo and Hungryjaack throughout the night, the lineup is built for a proper Saturday night out.
This is the first chapter of Contact Sport — a brand-new project with a fresh sound, a serious live show and plenty more to come. Come down to The Lansdowne and be there from the beginning.”
