Transport Transformed

About

Transport Transform | Rebus Theatre

Every journey matters. But is every journey accessible?

For many of us, catching public transport is a simple part of everyday life. But for people with disability, getting from one place to another can involve barriers that others may never notice.

Presented by Rebus Theatre, Transport Transform is a thought-provoking live theatre performance exploring accessibility, inclusion and the lived experiences of people with disability navigating public transport.

Through storytelling and performance, Transport Transform invites audiences to see everyday journeys from a different perspective and reflect on what it means to create a transport system that works for everyone.

What to expect

Join us for an engaging theatre experience that explores:

• The everyday experiences of people with disability using public transport.
• The physical, social and attitudinal barriers that can affect accessibility.
• The importance of empathy, understanding and inclusive communities.
• How we can rethink accessibility and create more welcoming public spaces.

Whether you're passionate about the performing arts, disability inclusion, public transport or making Canberra a more accessible city, Transport Transform offers an opportunity to engage with important conversations through theatre.
