Korea Festival is coming to Flagstaff Gardens for a one-day celebration of Korean culture, traditions, and delicious food. This free, family-friendly event marks 65 years of Korea-Australia diplomatic relations. It offers a chance to explore Korea’s vibrant heritage, enjoy live performances, and indulge in authentic Korean cuisine.
Watch an AI media art screening created with Korea’s KAIST, and enjoy cultural performances all afternoon, including a hanbok fashion show, janggu drumming, haegeum music and a special performance by drummer Rino. Adults 18+ can try traditional Korean liquors such as bokbunja and traditional soju at the free tasting zone (ID required). Browse the Korean food stalls, market stalls and cultural booths.
Enjoy an exciting K-Pop showdown featuring Melbourne’s top talent, with vocal performers from midday and dance crews. Stay for the winners announcement and a Korean Air flight ticket prize draw.
